In author’s view, the superplasticizer increases the fluidity and reduce the water cement ratio, which inevitably affect the mechanical behavior and microstructure of concrete at high temperature. WebThe pozzolanic concretes show better performance at elevated temperature for different heating cycles than ordinary concrete. Compressive strength of 10% and 20% silica fume concrete on an average is 38% and 28% respectively higher than plain concrete.
