To our knowledge, this is the first report of M. roridum causing leaf spot of watermelon plants in Pakistan. The disease may reduce the production of watermelon in Punjab, and cause economic loss to Pakistani farmers. WebFusarium was most commonly isolated followed by Stachybotrys atra, Myrothecium roridum, Trichoderma viride and Trichothecium roseum. The toxinogenic potential of individual isolates varied.
