Switch back to the launcher, wait an orbit, and repeat with the next satellite. Getting your orbital altitudes aren't as important as getting the proper orbital period. If the periods aren't exact, your satellites will start to drift out of formation.

WebOne is to play without the additional ground stations. When you do that, then you need a direct line of sight to the KSC. So you will need a satellite network in Kerbin's orbit to ensure a permanent communication link. A geostationary satellite above the KSC is a very useful asset in this game mode. Airstrips and helibases on Kerbin (Requires Kerbal Konstructs) Stationary orbitsare a special kind of synchronous orbit. Its 0° inclination and its eccentricity of 0 cause its ground track to be only a point: a satellite in this orbit has no motion relative to the body's surface. Since it is impossible to get all orbital values exact for a stationary orbit, satellites in stationary orbits … Meer weergeven When the orbital period is half as long as the rotational period, the orbit is usually described as semi-synchronous. It is possible to … Meer weergeven One advantage of a synchronous orbit is that they allow dropping multiple payloads from one craft, because the orbit will periodically travel above the same point on the body's surface. To have a stable geosynchronous orbit, you need to set latitude to 0, so you are over equator. To obtain longitude, simply launch another craft, and keep it in KSC. Read lon from it's save. Web1 jun. 2016 · Short version: a geostationary orbit will keep some orbital body above the same longitude at all times. Put more simply, to an observer on Kerbin, a satellite in geostationary orbit will remain stationary in the sky (well, hopefully, or at least with so little deviation it's unnoticeable).
