WebMajor issue: it takes a bonus action to move Hunter's Mark. At lower levels enemies have low HP so you'll waste more bonus actions having to switch HM around constantly. And at high levels HM becomes less useful since you're missing out on more damage. WebIn my group we homebrewed hunters mark into this, its just feature not a spell: As bonus action, you choose a creature you can see within 120 feet and mystically mark it as your quarry.
