Switching the HDMI cable and your NFB firmware did solve my problem The only thing that is not working at the moment are MQA files (Tidal via Roon). Regardless what i configure in Roon - i am not able to play MQA files to my X16 DAC. Normally the X16 handles MQA files directly inside the ESS9068 chipset.
